Severe Weather Awareness

Tornado It’s Severe Weather Awareness Week in North Carolina (March 4-10), and none too soon. The US has seen more than its fair share of tornadoes and severe storms in recent weeks. Just this past weekend our friends in Atlanta and Charlotte witnessed the devastation of EF-3 and EF-2 tornadoes.

Are you prepared for severe weather? Do you know what to do when it strikes?

The National Weather Service is spotlighting one weather topic each day this week, providing important information and safety tips.

In addition, the National Weather Service is set to conduct a statewide tornado drill at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 7. Announcements will be issued on all weather radios and public alert systems. Schools and businesses are encouraged to rehearse their safety plans at that time.

BluSky stands ready to respond to any storm damage needs, with 24/7 emergency response. We’re here when you need us.
