BluSky Presents $15,000 to Boys & Girls Clubs

BluSky presents check for $15,000 to Boys & Girls Clubs of GreensboroBluSky’s Greensboro division today presented a $15,000 donation to the Salvation Army Boys & Girls Clubs of Greensboro. The funds are the net proceeds from the recent Chips for Children casino night fundraising event held to benefit the clubs.

Chips for Children was held November 7 at the Empire Room in Downtown Greensboro. Over 240 guests attended the inaugural event that included blackjack, roulette and poker tables, auctions, and prizes. No actual gambling was permitted as all proceeds were designated for the Clubs.

“With a tagline of GREAT FUTURES START HERE, you might say the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greensboro are a kindred spirit with BluSky, where we’re all about Restoring Your Future,” company president Ras Fenger said in presenting the check. “In our own way, we’re both focused on making the future as bright as possible for the people we serve.”

While presenting the check, Fenger also announced the next Chips for Children will take place on Friday, September 25, 2015.
